Getting Ready for Spring 2023
Teaching for World Campus in Spring? You will soon receive an email from Smartsheet about populating your Canvas course space. By clicking the button in the email, you can let us know if you want to populate your course space with content from the Course Template. If we do not hear from you, we copy the Course Template into your course space. If you have questions, please contact us at istlearningdesign.
Training: Canvas: Integrating the OneDrive Learning Tool
Innovate your teaching in Canvas by integrating OneDrive in your course. This tool allows students and instructors to create, share, and collaborate on OneDrive files within Canvas. Participants will learn how to add the LTI to their course and will see how to update their content.

Registration: log in to https://lrn.psu.edu/ and search for Canvas OneDrive.
Opportunity: Classroom Photo-Op
Do you want to see your classroom (or yourself!) featured in media produced by the Office of Learning Design? If so, contact our multimedia specialist, Aimee Brown-Shadduck, at asb193@psu.edu and invite her in to take photos of you teaching your class.
Request World Campus Course Templates
If you are teaching a Resident Instruction (RI) version of a College of IST course, you can request a copy of the World Campus (WC) course template for that course. Many of the courses that run in residence have an online WC version, and while the format is different from the RI section, you may find useful elements that you can utilize in your course. You can also request the RI shell or just the Academic Integrity module. Make sure that you also contact the course committee chair for info about the course.
