TLT Symposium Call for Proposals is Open
The Teaching and Learning with Technology (TLT) call for presentation proposals is due on November 15. This is a great opportunity to share how your teaching is impacted with innovative tools and techniques. Mark your calendar for the Symposium on March 19, 2022.
Tool tip – Using Mobile Canvas Teacher App for Grading
- Canvas offers student and instructor mobile apps. While the free Canvas app is primarily for students, the Teacher app allows instructors to access the benefits of tools like Grades and SpeedGrader from their mobile device.
Getting Ready for Spring
We are starting to prepare for next semester. If you’re teaching WC, keep an eye out for emails from our office and the designer for your specific course to confirm preparation.
Reminders about Course Space Population
Teaching for World Campus in Spring? You will get a request from Smartsheet. Let us know if you want to populate your course space with content from the Course Template. If we did not hear from you, we will copy the template into your space. If you change your mind or have questions, please contact us at LD@ist.psu.edu.
Request World Campus Course Templates
If you are teaching a Resident Instruction (RI) version of a College of IST course, you can request a copy of the World Campus (WC) course template for that course. Many of the courses that run in residence have an online WC version, and while the format is different from the RI section, you may find useful elements that you can utilize in remote instruction.
